INTERESTED IN CALLING MONARCA HOME?
Monarca is being created for essential worker families in the Immokalee region who need access to quality, below-market rental housing. More details about eligibility, income requirements, and the application process will be shared as the community gets closer to welcoming its first families.
Monarca is still in the planning and development process. Site work is expected to begin first, followed by home construction. The first families are expected to move in once the initial homes are completed.
Monarca will include 184 quality two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes designed for families. Each home will include full kitchens, appliances, laundry rooms with washers and dryers, covered porches, impact windows and doors, and outdoor showers.
Yes. Monarca will include a Community Center, walking paths, green space, playgrounds, a five-acre lake, a lakeside park, and our Build A Better Life Program for all residents.
Monarca is being created to provide quality homes at below-market rental rates for essential worker families in the Immokalee region. Final rental rates have not yet been announced and will be shared closer to the application process. The goal is to make Monarca a more stable, affordable option for families who are currently facing high rents, overcrowded housing, and limited choices.
Each Monarca residence will be limited to one approved family. Monarca was created to give families the space, privacy and stability that too many have gone without—and to ensure the overcrowded living conditions many families have experienced are not repeated here.
A formal waiting list is not yet open. As Monarca moves closer to completion, information will be shared about the application process, eligibility requirements, rental rates, and how families can express interest in living in the community. Families interested in Monarca are encouraged to continue checking this website for updates.
