Nuestra Señora de la Vivienda Community Foundation, whose name means ‘Our Lady of Housing,’ is the developer behind the Monarca project, reflecting its mission to provide affordable housing solutions to the community. 

The name honors Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Patroness of Mexico and the Americas. It is a Catholic title to Mary, mother of Jesus, associated with a series of five Marian apparitions in December 1531, in a suburb of Mexico City.
